The Serenytics application lets you connect to Google Data (Google Analytics, Google Drive, Youtube Analytics and Google Search Engine console). Serenytics uses the API provided by Google to access this data. To allow this access, you will need to authorize Serenytics to have access to your Google Data. This authorization is achieved with the OAuth process provided by Google. Using OAuth ensures that Serenytics never has any access to your Google password. In the process of enabling access to your Google data, you will be redirected to a Google web page where you will be asked for your password. This page is hosted by Google, this explains why Serenytics has no access to your Google password.
For each one of the Google services used by Serenytics (Google Analytics, Google Drive, Youtube Analytics and Google Search Engine console), Serenytics only uses a read-only access (i.e. also called a read-only scope using the Google vocabulary). When Serenytics is connected to one of the 4 services, you will be able to get your data, process it and display it in the dashboards you create with Serenytics.
For Google Analytics, once authorized, Serenytics will be able to access (in read-only) all the dimensions and metrics and their data provided by the Google Analytics service, for all the websites linked to this Google Analytics account. Then, you will be able to manipulate this data and create dashboards with it in Serenytics.
For Google drive, once authorized, Serenytics will be able to access (in read-only) all your files in your Google Drive account. Serenytics only lets you get the data from your spreadsheet files. You will be able to get this data, manipulate it and create dashboards with it.
For Youtube Analytics, once authorized, Serenytics will be able to access (in read-only) all the dimensions and metrics and their data provided by the Youtube Analytics service. Then, you will be able to manipulate this data and create dashboards with it in Serenytics.
For Google Search Console, once authorized, Serenytics will be able to access (in read-only) all the dimensions and metrics and their data provided by the Google Search Console service, for all the websites linked to this Google Search Console account. Then, you will be able to manipulate this data and create dashboards with it in Serenytics.
